Here are some ways to let Israelis know that they're not alone.
Send an e-mail condolence letter to an
Israeli terrorist victim. There's a simple form to fill out at:
www.walk4israel.com. Click on "faces of the victims."
Then click on one of the faces, and a condolence note form will
appear.
Send a letter or e-mail to a soldier in Israel.
The Jewish Agency for Israel is asking young people (children, youth and
students) to send personal letters to IDF soldiers. All letter writers
should include their name and address so that the soldiers may answer. To
use e-mail, send a letter as an attachment to an e-mail to this address:
LetterToSoldier@jazo.org.il . The Jewish Agency in
Jerusalem will place the letter into an envelope and see that it is
delivered to a soldier. Snail mail letters can be sent to:
Letter for an Israeli Soldier, The Jewish Agency for Israel, POB 92,
Jerusalem 91000, Israel. an alternate address is: Letter for an Israeli
Soldier, Education Department, The Jewish Agency for Israel, 633 Third
Avenue 21st Floor, New York, NY 10017.
Consider asking your
synagogue or other organization to sponsor a terror victim's family.
The Israel Emergency Solidarity Fund
- One Family
has a program called Embrace, which twins an affected family with a
synagogue or other organization. The sponsors will provide long-term
financial and emotional support to the family.
